I have hunted with Dirk and Dirky his son in Namibia. The accommodation is great. As a bow hunter it is of most importance that your PH has bow hunting experience so you will be set up in blinds that are set up for bow hunting. If spot and stalking a PH with bow hunting experience is a must. Dirk and Dirky are great with bow hunters and I was able to get great animals with the bow. My son harvested 9 animals on our hunt in 2025. We never lost an animal. The conservancy is great with lots of wildlife and water. It’s thousands of acres of land. I loved the mountains in this area and like hunting that terrain.
My wife went on the hunts and had a wonderful experience. We are going back October 2026 my wife and I. Taking our youngest son on his first hunt in South Africa. He will be bow hunting and I know he’s going have a trip of a lifetime. Food is great. Staff is great. Taking care of the harvested animals and getting to taxidermy was handled great. I cannot say enough about this experience. Can’t wait until October 2026. This will be my third trip hunting with Dirk and Dirky
